Kate Dylag

Kate Dylag was hired as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach for 2022-23 season. Dylag, a Strongsville, Ohio native, comes to Alma from George Washington University, where she was an assistant coach for 4 seasons.

During her time at GW, Dylag helped to coach the Colonials to a 33-27-9 record. During this time, she helped to coach Natalie Siberman to A10 All-Conference honors. In her second season at GW, the Colonials were picked ninth in the preseason poll. The team would go on a historic run, finishing second at the end of the regular season, and making their first A10 Championship Game appearance since 1997. The Colonials would garner a handful of postseason honors, and several A10 Championship team nods. During Dylag’s time, the team was in the midst of a streak of years competing in the A10 tournament. Dylag’s third season would see the Colonials break the school record for consecutive season in the A10 tournament, with 7.

Dylag joined the Colonials after spending five seasons at Miami, where she helped guide the Hurricanes to the ACC quarterfinal in 2016. As an assistant coach, Dylag played an integral role in the team's day-to-day success, assisting in the planning of training and running sessions.

Prior to her time at Miami, Dylag was an assistant coach with Albany, where she helped guide the Great Danes to the best season in program history in 2011.

She also was an assistant coach with Clemson in 2010 and spent one season coaching in the Atlantic 10 as an assistant coach at Duquesne in 2009. Dylag has also had assistant coaching stints at NC State (2007-08) and Central Michigan (2003-07).
